Meisyn was stunned to learn that taking care of animals could be a JOB....a REAL JOB. She clapped her hands and queried the trainer, "IF I grow up, can I come back and have a job with you?" I believe the "IF" instead of "WHEN" caught Krissy off guard but she regained her composure and gave Meisyn a hearty, "Of course!! You come help me any time". Kisses to Shaba were blown in the wind and Mama's heart took a picture.
Auntie Melissa and Meisyn enjoyed the Sky Ride. They are close buddies now. Can't wait for Ben to get home to join his Mama Melissa and family. We have so much fun waiting ahead of us together.
One, Two, WE LOVED THE ZOO!!
Looks like a great time with so many memories made! Just found your blog and will be following. I was a camp counselor with MDA for 30 years and know the spirit of these kids. They make you smile on your darkest days. I just brought home my son from China on March 28, 2013. He just turned 7 and has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. I love the bucket list and as his language develops and he can tell me his wish list, we will make one too. I am trying to do as many experiences now while he is able to do them. We never know how long we will have our children. I will cherish every day I get with him. Thanks for sharing your journey!
